this time in development (still 2009 sucks). It's good to see that they are really doing good work. The game does look very good, and if the gameplay comes together this may be the title that gets me a PS3. I'll wait till the reviews come out though. I guess by then PS3 will have a pretty good library that I can get into. Except this leaves R2 with no chance to stop Gears of War 2 from dominating this holiday. Yet R2 sounds like it's going to be fun also...Good times
The accolades this game is getting, and gamers loving it I think it's safe to say that DLC will be a big deal. Taking into account that their may not be another GTA game for a while, it would make sense that people who love it, enjoy the game, are going to want more. Microsoft and Take Two are going to push it, why wouldn't Take Two do so for the rest of the year? Makes sense to me. Seeing as one of the co-founders is calling it a full on adventure, then I'm expecting a lot of satisfying cont...
Do not own GTAIV...So in light of that, after reading all the comments about the PS3 version being better. Sony PS3 closing the gap on multiplatform titles and supposedly surpassing the Xbox 360. We have proof positive that it takes alot of "tweaking" of PS3 titles, and false resolution statments (Check the back of your PS3 cases).
Halo 3 was and is still one of the best, biggest games on the Xbox 360. It was assaulted by PS3 fans as being less than what it was due to h...
So to must you deal with the brillance that will be Gears of War 2...
You have to understand overrated, underachieving hardware is what PS3 fans like to spew on and on about. They try to make dirt look like gold, but something that actually does what it is supposed to do. Is overrated...Warped ain't it...
I have a question...How long has Killzone 2 been in development?
incredible how several games on a new generation engine is washed up? If we look in the past which is a great indicator for success in the future. We have seen engines like Unreal, get better with time. It's only natural for the Unreal Engine 3 to add quality components to give it more versatility. I'm pretty sure the team at Epic is finding ways to push the tech, especially on the Xbox 360. If the demo at GDC was anything to look at then we have to assume that with hard work, and focus...
Title for the best console to game on. Look forward to this one, I have heard nothing but praise from critics. Similar to what we heard with Bioshock...
"Haters no like but they gotta fucc with it"...Jay-z
thing we gotta keep in mind is that they are hating on the same magazine that gave the world Resistance 2 screen shots. Notice they praise that, and hate on Gears 2. A game part of a series who's first title out the gate proved it's worth. Resistance 1 fell short, and Killzone one was straight dirt. There was no need to curb stomp a dud. Forget the fact that in a podcast the editor stated after seeing Gears of War 2 looks better than the first. That it looks like you are watching a matt...
I don't like the character design, I'm looking forward to the game. Well you just going to have to let the haters hate. It's what they do best, instead of play games.
There is no context in what he is saying about GOW. For a first time title on new technology, using a new engine, and do incredible. Not just critics, but with gamers. If Epic never gave us the game he wouldn't have anything to write about. So thanks goes to Epic for creating something people can find things to hate about. How is it possible for a game like GOW to do what it did, but everyone be blind because in a haters oppinion of the masses? GOW more than earned every accolade it got. The ...
The only way motion controls count is if the game is fun. If not, then it matters not. Most games on the Wii are shovel ware, and ports. The ones that are good really showcase the system and control intergration.
Think about the fact that a majority of the top rated and selling games are on the Xbox 360. So let's for argument say that several developers are using this new device. It's not like the system can't do it technically, if the games are top notch folks are going to buy i...
this even relevant for conversation? Nintendo did not intend for their machine to be on the same level as the other systems. So stirring the pot is useless at best. The Wii is not that much more powerful than a GC, so why would you want graphic achievements that it can't match on other consoles? Having it do the best that the Wii can do is much more important. Most titles are dishwash rags, and very view titles actually push the system or take advantage of it. Besides as this generation goes ...
I think the article just touched on my thoughts about the Xbox 360 line-up. Sure it has fewer exclusives, but I really don't think that the system needs more. It's all about those sleeper third party titles, and he highlighted three I'm looking forward to...I mean if you say a game is better than COD4, then I gotta try it out...period. That's just too big a statement...
My thoughts in terms of line-ups and game quality overall both systems will do really well...
They did it the first time, and exceeded expectations. Along with the fact that the game was on a system just a year old. If history is anything to go by; the longer, and more familar you are with a system and developing on it, the more you will be able to get out of it. Just compare every 1st, 2nd generation PS 2 game and you will see that is the case. It's not exclusive to one console (for haters that have on blinders). Epic concieved this game as a trilogy. They didn't just jump into the ...
Gut is telling me this is actually going to be a fun game to play. Will it be in the upper echelon of fighting titles, I doubt that. The air combat could give it a whole new love for fans if it plays out well...Very interesting indeed...
This game can either be utter spectacular, or utter gutter trash...
Side note...WB maybe in the works to buy Midway, who knows? Midway needs an out, and with a developer like Epic and a rich history I think it's time for a move...But this game? I don't know...ugggh
I thought this guy was going to have something useful and a new perspective about the controller.
Let's just for argument sake use his idea about games on the Wii being good without motion control. My question would be to him, how many AAA titles does the 360 have without a gimmick like motion control? I'd say on average better games then more than half the Wii line-up.
Here's why motion control could be great for the Xbox 360.
